For me having Diabetes, took time to sink in. After 2 or 3 months I realised that I’m missing out on life. I started off treatment with tablets and injections. I was getting decent results until soon they weren’t very effective and I was taking 4-5 injections again. I was in IIT Bombay and used to participate in a lot of extra-curricular activities. I would have late dinners, come back at 3am and eat again; that time I had a lot of hyperglycaemic and hypoglycemic episodes. My doctor recommended the Insulin Pump Therapy to help me with my college boy lifestyle. With continuous insulin delivery, I got better control over my diabetes and now I can happily go out without worrying. It’s the best therapy around!

The mechanism of continuous insulin delivery gave me better control over diabetes, without changing my lifestyle!
